GDPR Policy

LandinChat is committed to the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. This page summarises how we comply and how you can exercise your rights.

Roles

For customer account data, LandinChat is the data controller. For end-user contacts and messages you process through our Service, LandinChat acts as a data processor and you remain the controller.

Legal bases

  • Performance of contract (providing the Service you subscribed to)
  • Legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, product analytics)
  • Consent (marketing communications you opt into)
  • Legal obligation (tax, accounting, lawful requests)

Sub-processors

We use vetted sub-processors for hosting, email, analytics and payments. A current list is available on request from privacy@landinchat.com.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards.

Your rights (EU/EEA & UK)

  • Access, correction and erasure
  • Restriction of and objection to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

Customers can sign our DPA by contacting privacy@landinchat.com.

Data breach notification

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will notify affected customers without undue delay and, where required, within 72 hours.
