Roles
For customer account data, LandinChat is the data controller. For end-user contacts and messages you process through our Service, LandinChat acts as a data processor and you remain the controller.
Legal bases
- Performance of contract (providing the Service you subscribed to)
- Legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, product analytics)
- Consent (marketing communications you opt into)
- Legal obligation (tax, accounting, lawful requests)
Sub-processors
We use vetted sub-processors for hosting, email, analytics and payments. A current list is available on request from privacy@landinchat.com.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards.
Your rights (EU/EEA & UK)
- Access, correction and erasure
- Restriction of and objection to processing

- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Customers can sign our DPA by contacting privacy@landinchat.com.
Data breach notification
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will notify affected customers without undue delay and, where required, within 72 hours.
